Especially for those girls who have decided to devote their lives to sports, we publish the farewell of Molly Fletcher, former tennis players of the Michigan national team, and in the present - the mother of three athletic girls. She inspires and teaches them to dream, live and grow without feeling fear. Molly worked for many years as a sports agent, and now she applies her sporting experience inbusiness leadership.
And parents of girls who still do not know how to occupy their daughter, we recommend reading the article "How to choose a sport for a girl."
I see how you put all your efforts on the field or court, how your pigtails jump, how your face burns with a thirst for victory. You love to play and win, and every time this determination makes you more and more in love with your sport. The heart wants to compete - to conquer itself. And I see parents in the stands who impose so much on you, so much await your success. I know, because I have three daughters who play sports, and I am a former tennis player of the First Division of the National University Sports Association. In honor of the National Women's Day of Sport, I want to say to you only two words:
There is nothing better than to see how you set tasks and soar as high as your wings can withstand you. When you give the ball, do the transfer, beat off, maneuver, you do much more for yourself and for the whole world.
There is a saying that a woman holds half the sky on her shoulders. This means that you, as a daughter, and your mom and sisters - we are all strong and significant. By competing, you make yourself even stronger to keep the sky tighter for us all, including for dads, brothers and sons. Everybody wins when you transcend yourself.
More points, further blow, higher leap - isn't it magic? Each achievement brings all new and new feelings, but the most important thing is that you gain strength and firmness of character.
You learn to set a goal and achieve it.
And this skill helps you in all areas of your life, making you a more diligent student, a caring friend, a developed personality and a leader.
When parents watch your game, they are overwhelmed with feelings.Sometimes we see a young reflection of ourselves, and we hear the voices of our parents, over and over. We know what all your work means to you. Sometimes it is difficult for us to keep a balance between motivation and pressure. Sometimes we say the wrong things at the wrong time. Regardless of the result on the scoreboard, the best we can say is: “I liked your game!”

When you are faced with injustice, for example, with the wrong decision of a judge, I like to see how adequately you cope with it. I know how hard it is to overcome emotions. But professional sport is inspiring. You still do not understand how your decision today may affect the future. The more right things you do in sports, the more likely it is that in the future you will go the same way: with character.
When you listen to a coach, ask questions to make sure that you understand everything correctly, and try your best - you are the coach’s trust. This is important, even if you are not a member of the main team. This is especially important if you make a mistake.
Each person has a vocation in life, and the more diligently you listen and hear the coach, the closer you will be to your dream. To transcend yourself, you have to listen to the teachers, the boss, the partner. When you listen to a person who makes every effort to achieve your maximum, you prepare for the maximum - in sports, at school, at work, in life.
I share with you the joy of all your victories, but life presents defeats. No matter what the score.
The victory lies in how you control your emotions, how you concentrate and how you lay out.
Not parents, not a coach, but your teammates - that's who is ready to stand behind you with a mountain.
